Reporting a bug
Please include these — with them a problem is usually fixable in one pass, without them it often is not reproducible at all:
- What you were doing, and what you expected to happen.
- Your phone model and its Android or iOS version.
- The app version, shown under About at the bottom of Settings.
- For a scan that looks wrong: which tool it was, and roughly how many photos and videos your library has.
Please do not send us your photos, screenshots of your library or contact details. Describing the problem is enough, and we cannot restore anything you deleted — it was never on our side.

Does Swipely upload my photos?
No. The scan runs on your phone and your photos, videos and contacts are never uploaded. The app has no server to upload them to.
Will it delete anything without asking?
Never. Swipely only selects; you press delete and confirm, and for photos and videos your phone asks once more before anything is removed.
How does it decide which similar photo to keep?
It groups photos of the same size taken seconds apart and marks the first of each group Keep. You can keep any other shot instead, or keep them all.
Can I get a deleted photo back?
On iPhone, deleted photos stay in Recently Deleted for 30 days. On Android it depends on your phone and gallery app, so check before you confirm.
Why are the sizes approximate?
Phones do not report the exact size of every photo and video to apps, so Swipely estimates from the resolution and length. That is why sizes are shown with ≈.
Does it clean junk files or boost RAM?
No. Those counters mostly measure things the phone already manages on its own. Swipely works on what really takes space and attention: photos, videos and contacts you can see and decide on.
Is it free?
Yes. There is no subscription and no account. The app may show ads to keep it free.

Deleting your data
Swipely has no account and no server, so there is nothing of yours for us to delete. Your settings and clean-up history are kept on your phone; uninstalling the app removes them.
